Belle de Brillet- Fall and Holiday Cocktails For Your Next Gathering

With autumn in full swing and preparations for the holidays commencing, we thought it would be the perfect time to offer you festive, pear-infused cocktails for your upcoming gatherings from Belle de Brillet.

Belle de Brillet is a tenth generation family owned company that produces, distills and bottles Belle de Brillet Pear Liqueur. Located in the heart of the Cognac region, Belle de Brillet (SRP $25.99 in a 375ml or SRP $45.99 in a 750ml ) is a pear liqueur produced through the infusion of Brillet cognac with the essence of Williams Pears, produced mainly in the east of France. Each bottle of Belle de Brillet Pear Liqueur is an original blend, produced with approximately 20 pounds of perfectly matured, carefully selected pears that are macerated and then blended with Brillet cognac, along with a “special” ingredient, that is a closely guarded secret by Maison Brillet.

The flavors of the cognac add warmth and spice on your palate, which was a perfect dynamic for creating fall and holiday cocktails,” explains NYC-based Mixologist Jaime Rios.  Listed below, Jaime has created four specialty cocktails for entertaining. You can drink as an aperitif or pair with your favorite spiced cookie.

Fall Cocktails:

  • Autumn Breeze

o   1.0 oz. Belle de Brillet

o   1.0 oz. Lime Juice

o   1.5 oz. Premium Whisky

o   Shake and strain all ingredients into a high ball and top with Sparkling Apple cider.

o   Garnish with apple slices and three dashes of bitters on top

  • Belleza

o   0.5 oz. Belle de Brillet

o   1.5 oz. Reposado Tequila

o   Add into mixing glass and add three dashes of orange bitters.

o   Stir and Strain into rocks glass without ice.

o   Garnish with orange slice sprinkled with cinnamon

Holiday Cocktails:

  • Holiday Belle

o   .75 oz. Belle de Brillet

o   .25 oz. Sweet Vermouth

o   2.0 oz. Premium Whisky

o   Add into mixing glass and add three dashes anise bitters

o   Stir and Strain into Nick and Nora glass.

o   Garnish with Star Anise

  • Belle Epoch

o   .75 oz. Belle de Brillet

o   1.0 oz. Sweet Vermouth

o   1.0 oz. Premium Gin

o   Add into rocks glass with ice and top with Caposaldo Prosecco

o   Garnish with orange twist and serve on a plate with an

o   Amaretto cookie on the side
