Beauty Box 5 – Review and Favorite Product

Sharing Products from December 2014 Subscription – Jaqua Hand Creme, Absolute! Nail Polish Remover Pads, Juice Stem Cellular Moisturizer, Nanacoco Nail Polish, Luck Brand Fragrance.

My favorite product for this month was the Jaqua Hand Creme – does a wonderful job moisturizing the hands and cuticles; this product also smells lovely. The glitter polish is a nice addition to any manicure, with small hearts included in the lacquer.

Beauty Box 5 March Subscription Box – Tree Hunt Shea Body Butter Favorite

Beauty Box 5 sent this fabulous set of products in the mail. This month’s box included Jane’s Pick (handmade) Soap, Tree Hunt Shea Body Butter, Swisscom Dual-sided Facial Pad, Bellapierre Makeup Base, and Design Essentials Natural Curl Enhancing Mousse.

In every subscription box I have a product that’s my favorite and this month was no exception. My favorite item that I received was the Tree Hunt Shea Body Butter with a Coconut Lime scent.

I’ve tested Tree Hunt products before but when I opened this cream I feel in love! The smell is very “delicious” and the cream glides on nicely. I am completely sold on this product and now searching for the scrub (in the same scent.)

Overall, I am still in the process of using my Bellapierre Makeup Base but will probably test it out this weekend for my next lifestyle segment.

I am always eager to receive my Beauty Box 5 subscription in the mail because there’s a new theme every month and that’s pretty exciting for a beauty junkie!

Beauty Box 5 February Subscription and Fun Products

My monthly subscription from Beauty Box 5 arrived and I was pleased to receive all of the goodies in this month’s box.

The company sent over Every Beauty Makeup Remover Pads, Rockstar Nail Polish, Elizabeth Mott Mascara, H20 Plus Spa Hand & Nail Cream, and John Frieda Shampoo/Conditioner.

I was super excited to use the Elizabeth Mott Mascara because I actually needed to purchase a new tube, so my subscription box came right on time. And the product lived up to my expectation: no clumps, goes on smooth, and wears well through out the day.

The Rockstar Nail Polish was actually one of the first items that caught my attention due to my love of the color pink…the nail sprinkles and I am excited to have my “caviar” nails done!

And of course, I welcome receiving any new hand cream because there’s so much dry air this season. To sum it up, I am enjoying my subscription and will post an updated photo of the nail polish once I have my weekly manicure.

Winter Beauty Techniques: Detox Bath and Montagne Jeunesse Face Mask

In the video clip below, I am sharing two techniques to help us fight the battle of “winter beauty blues.” One technique is to take a nice long detox bath and the second technique is to use an at home face mask.

Your probably asking, “why is this topic so important?” Because the winter months can leave your skin very dry (a battle ground for wrinkles) but most importantly, because it’s flu season we should detox our bodies weekly to keep those nasty toxins away.

Honestly, when I first sampled the Montagne Jeunesse face mask I was scared (lol) but the mask turned out to be a great inexpensive product. For use, clean your face first, take the mask out of the pack and place it on your entire face for about 10 minutes, rinse off the residue, and moisturize your skin.

Simple enough process right! The moral of the story: if you take care of your body it will take care of you and you don’t have to spend your mortgage payment to have a consistent beauty regimen.

Price of Products:

Epsom Salt: $5.99

Montagne Jeunesse Face Mask: $1.99

Don’t judge me the name of our “favorite face mask” is hard to pronounce. {smile} Also we gave you an additional clip from our Beauty Box Five subscription!

Beauty Box Five: January 2014 Subscription

Beauty Box Five placed my “January” box in the mail last week for review.

The products that I received this month were H2O Plus Spa Sea Lotus Body Wash, Nubar Cuticle & Nail Oil, Swissco Bath & Shower Exfoliating Gloves, Jergens Daily Moisturizer, Epic Blend Hemp Coconut Lip Balm, and That Awkward Moment Mirror Compact.

Overall this was a box worth receiving because the products enclosed centered around being pampered and taking care of your body during this brisk season.

To learn more about this month's subscription, take a look at the video below.

Beauty Box 5 Subscription: Naughty and Nice

My Beauty Box 5 product samples (Naughty and Nice) came in the mail last week.  Honestly, I need every product sample inside of my box.

I love to see the products that are sent every month, so I truly enjoy being apart of this subscription.  For the month of December, I received a NYX Cosmetics Palette, Body Drench Daily Moisturizing Lotion, Ofra Cosmetics Lipgloss Plumper, Clean & Clear Morning Moisturizer, and Beauty Flexible Foot Smoother.

The purpose of this month’s box, is to “kick out old conventions and celebrate you.”  How perfect is that as we celebrate the New Year.

It’s really important during the winter months to take care of yourself and keep your skin hydrated.

I look forward to using every product but my absolute favorite is the Body Drench Daily Moisturizing Lotion because I suffer from dry skin.  I even caught my husband carrying my new lotion in his coat pocket!

If you’re looking for a new way to try beauty products (without wasting money) try out Beauty Box 5, they send the latest products to your front door.

Beauty Box 5: Beauty Sampling Program, Regimen, and Products Review

Beauty Box 5 is a beauty sampling program where subscribers receive new products in the mail on a monthly basis.  Luckliy, I participate in one of their blogger programs and to my excitement received my first “beauty box” two weeks ago.  Of course, when you receive the products in the mail, you are eager to see if they work with your individual regimen.

In my first subscription box, I was given Aveeno Positively Nourishing Body Wash, Montagne Jeunesse Glacial Cooling Face Mask, Secret Clinical Strenght Antiperspirant & Deodorant, Body Drench Lip Drench, and Bellapierre Cosmetics Shimmer Powder.  Honestly, I have to admit that I love all of the products (and not saying this because I am affiliated with their program!)

Beauty Box 5 does not send (only) a box of cosmetics but practical products that we want to purchase from our local drug store but not sure if we will like the actual product.

For example, we are now in the winter months and my lips are dry.  I was able to use the Body Drench Lip Drench daily to keep my lips moisturized.  The Aveeno Calming Body Wash is gentle on my skin because (again) we have harsh weather but I also suffer from eczema and having a reliable body wash is a plus for me.

And how many times have we wanted to change our deodorant but hesitant because we’re not sure if it will work with our body chemistry.  I received Secret Clinical Strength Antiperspirant & Deodorant with my box and it was not the size of an ordinary sample.  This was a decent size product and smells really great as well.

If you’re searching for an affordable beauty program with a variety of products, I suggest subscribing to Beauty Box 5 and start changing your beauty regimen with better products.
