Three Alternatives to Dove Beauty Brand After Offensive Ad

We understand the advertising gods have high hopes of reaching diverse audiences.  During culturally sensitive times such as this, several beauty companies are creating various products in cosmetics, hair care, and skin care collections.

Unfortunately, Dove personal care beauty brand missed the mark.  Their recent ad provided a negative undertone and was racially offensive.

Neutrogena is a great alternative skin care brand

Due to the circumstances, I want to share some alternative brands that will get the job done:

  1. Neutrogena is at the top of my list.  Not only is it dermatologist recommended but leaves intense moisture for dry areas.  I can attest to this product line because I have eczema and it’s the only brand that controls this issue.
  2. Olay has an entire collection dedicated to anti-aging, acne treatments, and cleansers. This is my second favorite drugstore brand due to the results of skin care transformation.
  3. Cetaphil is a product line that’s gentle on the skin and removes all oils.  I highly recommend this product for kids (babies) or those with minor skin irritations.

All of the brands listed can be purchased at your local Target or drugstore.  Tell me, what’s your favorite body/skin care brand?
