NBC WBAL-TV Segment with CureDiva.com

I was asked to visit NBC’s WBAL to talk about the lifestyle brand CureDiva.com This project was close to my heart because of the number of women (we know and love) who have had to undergo cancer. Often times when they’re in this situation, they are facing several physical battles such as hot flashes, weakening nails, or hair loss. CureDiva.com is platform for women to not only wear fashionable accessories before, during, and after their treatment but it’s also a community for women to discuss issues that are centered around the illness.

The products I featured where the Acquarella Nail System, Travel Purse with Ice Pack, and a Fancy Hands Fan. Each product serves a purpose, for example the Travel Purse Ice Pack helps women with hot flashes (as a mini cooler.)

In addition to sharing the products with local viewers, I decided to wear the color pink to support the brand.

Fox 45 Morning News Segment: Spring Cleaning Products

The whole experience of being on television is new to me but also very exciting. It’s an aspect of my brand that I didn’t pursue (or imagine) but was presented to me through a public relations firm located in New York.

In order to look great, I’ve discovered a few tricks to help “play up” my features while on camera: 1. I try to wear a color that compliments my skin tone and hair style. 2. My heels have to be very tall because I am actually short (smile.) 3. Manicures are normally a neutral shade because the segments are not about my nail art but the products and purpose of the segment. 4. I prefer to do my own makeup because at this stage, segments happen early in the morning so there’s very little time to sit with an artist. 5. My garments have a unique fit to my body type….no room for sagging sleeves or tops sliding off my shoulders. 6. Kardashian Kollection for Lipsy Launches In Stores and Online

The new Kardashian Kollection for Lipsy launches today with the reality stars as the featured models.

Designs for the collection show case the individual style of each Kardashian. Per visiting the site, Kourtney’s personal style is considered to be electic, Kim’s style is more glam elegance, while Khloe has more edge with a rock chic look. With their styles being so diverse, this lead to the inspiration behind the collection.

From clothing, dresses, shoes and accessories the Kardashian Kollection appears to be fun, stylish, and affordable.
