Victoria’s Secret announces a limited-edition capsule collection: VSxBALMAIN. Olivier Rousteing, the Creative Director from the historic Parisian fashion house, has designed an offering that looks to the sexy, modern silhouette that Victoria’s Secret is known for, while incorporating Balmain’s instantly identifiable style. The collection builds upon the house’s couture legacy while reflecting the way women want to dress today.
The collaboration marks the first time that the lingerie retailer has partnered with a luxury brand to create an exclusive collection. Rousteing has also designed a section for the 2017 VICTORIA’S SECRET FASHION SHOW, which will debut on the runway this November. The exclusive VSxBALMAIN capsule collection will feature looks from the runway and will be carried in select Victoria’s Secret stores and on VictoriasSecret.com, beginning November 29th.
The 2017 VICTORIA’S SECRET FASHION SHOW will be filmed in Shanghai, China, and will be broadcast Tuesday, November 28th (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

Olivier Rousteing stayed true to his glamorous designs with gold accents, opulent fabrics, and intricate cuts.
From viewing the collection, my favorite pieces included collar necklaces, wide belts, sheer tops, and long (flowing) skirts. Every design from the show was stunning!

Cassie graced the red carpet wearing a hot, new look for the 2016 MTV Video Music Awards. The singer was seen in a Balmain Jacket and Gucci Metallic Leggings. Her accessories for the evening included a Gold Body Chain and Handbag.
The eye-opener was Cassie’s neon hair color; very fitting for the awards show red carpet!
To re-create this look, fashion girls (and guys) can visit their local ASOS store online. Simply purchase a Ponte Blazer and Gold Leggings. Pair this look with a Body Chain and Zip Pouch Handbag. For a more conservative twist, add a Fitted Cami Top underneath the blazer.
Don’t forget to accent the hair with Blonde Hairspray, Extensions, or even a Wig. The singer/dancer’s red carpet look was trendy, fun, and inspirational. Dare to be different!
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West gave us a short video wearing custom-made Balmain looks for the Met Gala 2016. The couple looked amazing in metallic tones on the red carpet.
According to Instagram, this was the MANUSxMACHINA experience! Kanye also gave everyone a new experience with his colored contact lenses.

Everyone’s waiting for the much-anticipated launch of the Balmain x HM Collection. Rumor has it, the collection leaked today but we waited too late to jump on the story! At any rate, Balmain is considered to be one of my favorite designers and I have no problem waiting for the entire collection.

The collaboration with Oliver Rousteing will be available on November 5, 2015 at HM stores nationwide. Customers can shop online or in-store for the designs. Kendall Jenner’s also one of the models for the famous campaign. The collection will be for menswear, womenswear, and accessories.
No worries Balmaination, Style + Life + Fashion will wait for the November launch and wave our flag for the Balmain Army!

If you love couture and missed Paris Fashion Week 2015 don’t get upset because a few of the shows are below. Technology has allowed us to enjoy fashion from all over the world; streaming Chanel, Balmain, Christian Dior, and Saint Laurent.
I love Parisian designs because the styles are forward leaning, with the use of high quality fabrics and the ability to show opulence. Parisian style has made a huge impact on ready to wear apparel and everyday street style.
