Let’s be clear, I love OPI Nail Polish. Not for the purposes of this blog post but my admiration goes back to being a teenager. I was eager to get professional manicures because my mom would get her nails filled-in. To me, this signified being the ultimate adult; going to the nail salon. As a grown woman, I still have that same level of excitement when entering the salon. All of those nail colors are fascinating but I can only pick one!
OPI shipped me a box of the latest shades for the season and I couldn’t wait to share them. Remember, we are a few months away from the new year; continue to stay tough as nails!
The pandemic has definitely taken a toll on my manicure schedule. I am squeezing in salon visits. Yikes!
One easy beauty technique is to keep nail lacquer at-home. You never know when you need a change or quick touch-up. OPI shipped a collection of colors that would make anyone want to polish their nails!
After reading a few online articles, I learned the importance of bringing your own supplies to the salon. This helps with the health and hygiene of preventing the spread of germs. Then, why not bring nail polish, right?
On this particular day, I stopped by the salon and grabbed a manicure. I brought the color We Seafood and Eat It.
The shade is considered to be reddish-orange and accents my tiny hand. In-between zoom meetings, I still like to look my best!
Visit OPI to shop for more products and keep stunning nails during the pandemic!
At some point, we will leave our homes. Why not enter the world with glowing skin and healthy nails? During this time, it’s easy to become lazy. The phrase that comes to mind, nobody will see me right?
Although that may be true, the effects of neglecting yourself can have an impact. One simple self-care tip is to do a manicure at home.

Many people are puzzled about removing their previous nail applications. Before being quarantined, everyone retreated to their favorite salon for either dipping powder or gel polish. Now there’s a question, “How do I remove this?”
With a few simple steps, you can remove your dipping powder/gel polish and have a manicured hand from the comfort of your home.
Dipping Powder Removal
Please note, the solution can be messy as it’s removed. Be sure to place a towel underneath the nails!
Bonus Tip: The last step, soak your nails in warm oil to restore the health of the nails.

If you want to take at-home manicure to the next level, invest in a professional manicure/pedicure kit from Amazon.
This small machine ranges in price starting at $25.00 and up. The longterm investment is that you can have a ready-made manicure any time!
Another trendy option, in the meantime, is to try Press-On Nails.
The tragedy that occurred between Kobe and Gianna Bryant was earth-shattering to the entire world.
Celebrities and fans both searched for an opportunity to show their respect to the legend and his daughter. Some wore Kobe’s basketball jersey while others created a poster, highlighting his name.
During the memorial, Beyoncé was seen dressed in purple and gold. She even took it one step further by coordinating her manicure with her outfit.
This was a creative tribute to one of the greatest athletes of our time! What are your thoughts about Beyoncé’s bold purple nails?
Let’s talk about nail trends. From acrylics, dipping powder, or gel polish, manicured hands are making a big statement!
A few years ago, nude tones were a big trend but women are stepping outside of their comfort zone. Leopard print, neon lacquer, glitter highlights, and ombre designs are seen in the office or school pick-up line.
Take a look and find nail inspiration before your next manicure. Tell me in the comments box, do you prefer dipping powder or gel polish?

November marks the beginning of holiday party season and getting a manicure is at the top of everyone’s to-do list.
My favorite salon service is receiving a gel manicure but with so many daily activities I suffer from a few dents and chips.
I wanted to share tips that will make your gel manicure last longer and keep your hands beautiful during the holidays.
Make Your Gel Manicure Last:
The biggest gel manicure secret is when the polish chips use a file to reshape the nails. Filing removes the chipped polish and makes your manicure look fresh. Finish the process with hand lotion.
Gel manicures can be beautiful and shiny! Remember, do not remove the gel polish at-home and take a break between salon visits to let the nails repair.
