Kendra Scott Unveils First-Ever Engagement Ring Collection

Today, Kendra Scott enters a new category with the introduction of The Engagement Collection by Kendra Scott. Building on a successful fine jewelry business in Kendra Scott’s repertoire, entry into engagement was a natural next step for the brand. This launch comes as the company celebrates its 20th anniversary and marks the second new category expansion this year,  following the successful introduction of Watches and Watch Bands in April.

As a brand that places an emphasis on innovation, Kendra Scott made the decision to work with lab grown diamonds. The debut eleven-piece Engagement Collection by Kendra Scott features lab grown diamonds that are F in color (colorless), VS2 in clarity range, and available in carat weight from 0.5 to 2 carats. All rings are custom, made to order, and delivered in approximately three weeks.

Inspired by Kendra Scott’s signature icon pieces, each engagement silhouette bears custom details unique to the brand’s design DNA. Available in Solitaire, Halo, and Signature silhouettes, the rings feature a traditional center stone, including Round, Oval, and Emerald. Customers have the option to customize the ring with their choice of 14k White Gold, Rose Gold, or Yellow Gold. Representing joy, optimism, and the promise of a bright future, a singular Yellow Sapphire was thoughtfully placed at the bridge of each Solitaire setting or burnished at the base of Iconic Halo rings.

MYTH: It’s okay not to wear a bra at all

This is a somewhat controversial topic, but most experts will agree that it’s a good idea to wear a bra. A bra offers support and can take off the strain on your back and overall posture. If the root of not wanting to wear a bra is comfort, look for a soft yet supportive style like a bralette or one of the many wire free options.

MYTH: Straps provide all of a bra’s support

This is a big misconception and completely false. The majority of a bra’s support should come from the band and not the straps. Finding your right size bra is not that complicated, but it might require some patience. When trying on a bra, make sure that you try it on with a t-shirt so that you can see if you get the shape that you really want.

MYTH: Never wash your bra in the laundry machine

While some may recommend hand washing your lingerie, you can put your bras in the laundry provided that you do so carefully. Use a lingerie bag and make sure that you close the bra so that the hooks don’t catch on anything. Never put your bra in the dryer since heat will harm the spandex or other stretch fiber.

I  love all white ensembles because you can pair them with any color statement. An all-white ensemble will instantly pop with colorful accessories or you can keep your statement pieces all white for a clean, sophisticated look.

3. With the abundance of crochet predicted, what accessories do you have in mind to 

complement this look? 

I would love to pair crochet looks with jewels… we have some coming in spring that will work exceptionally well with crochet. The juxtaposition of organic wool with glittering stones works well.

4. Any gingham accessories for Spring? If so, what colorways?

Gingham will be a fun pattern this season and I would wear it in the colors for spring. I’m gravitating towards soft lilac and hot pink for earrings and headbands in particular.

5.  With sexy bra tops making a return, what earrings will best compliment this look?

Depending on the detailing of the bra, I would pair them with some fringe earrings or jewel with fringe earrings. The minimalist bra look allows for a ‘wow’ earring to fill up the space.

6. Your top embellishments for Spring earrings?

I am big on jewels this Spring in soft tan, purple and blues. Chains and pearls will be making a statement as well and adorn your ears perfectly.
