Last night, Red Carpet Green Dress celebrity partner, actress Emma Roberts (“Scream Queens”) showcased a form of sustainable fashion when she arrived at the 89^thAcademy Awards® wearing a classic Giorgio Armani gown from his very first Prive’ collection. The gown was accessorized with exclusive pieces from Atelier Swarovski Fine Jewelry. This is the first time vintage fashion has been put under the spotlight by Suzy Amis Cameron’s eco-conscious cause as a solution to help better the environment.

“Red Carpet Green Dress is always researching ways to help improve the planet and the lives of others,” states actress and environmental activist Amis Cameron. “As a culture, we are inundated with messaging of wanting and needing the latest ‘new’ product. But by recycling gowns, we are making the ‘old’ new again and finding the beauty that already exists. It is an important form of sustainability.”

The spaghetti strap couture dress, which originally debuted in Paris in January 2005, is embroidered with cream crystals and waves of small white jet beads featured in a two-tiered skirt. The dramatic plunging bodice is made of jet and black crystal teardrops and is completed with a black satin cummerbund at the waist.

To complete the head-to-toe look Emma Roberts wore exclusive created diamond pieces from Atelier Swarovski’s first fine jewelry collection. All resources focus on an environmentally and socially responsible design with a minimal negative impact on the environment.
