Lime is a small color with a big presence. Beside pink, it can make an outfit feel playful and precise at the same time. The easiest way to introduce it is through a single accessory, while keeping the main clothing shapes straightforward.
You can try the idea with a scarf, bag, shoe, or piece of jewelry. There is no need to buy a full lime outfit to find out whether the color belongs in your wardrobe.
Keep one quiet foundation
Pair pink trousers with an ivory shirt, then add a lime bag. The shirt separates the two brights and keeps the outfit readable. A white tee and dark denim can do the same job if your pink appears in a jacket.
If you prefer a darker base, use black trousers and a black top, then introduce pink in a cardigan and lime in a small accessory. Keep the pink visibly more substantial so the two accents do not compete for equal attention.
Start with the accessory you will use
A small bag is useful because you can set it down when you want a quieter look. Earrings keep the color close to your face. Shoes make the combination visible in a full-length outfit, but may disappear beneath wide trousers.
Before deciding, consider how you will spend the day. For a video meeting, a bag will have little effect on screen. For an outdoor lunch, a shoe or bag may be exactly the detail you want. Color placement should serve the situation.

Let the colors be different in intensity
An electric lime beside a strong pink feels energetic. A softer yellow-green next to a muted rose gives a less dramatic result. Try the actual shades together in natural light because names on product pages cannot tell you everything about a color.
You can soften the pairing through texture. A matte knit will usually read more quietly than a glossy surface in the same shade. If the look feels too bright, first change the size or surface of the accent rather than abandoning the combination.
Avoid adding a fourth decision
Once pink and lime are in place, keep the other accessories familiar. An ivory shirt, black shoes, and simple metal jewelry can finish the look. A competing print may be exciting, but it also adds another visual task. Save it for a day when you want that much activity.
The same principle applies to makeup. You can wear a strong lip with a bright outfit, but it is a choice. Check the whole look in the mirror instead of treating every element as a separate styling project.
A five-minute color experiment
Lay out a pink item, a neutral base, and one lime detail. Take a photo. Remove the lime and take another. Compare how the mood changes, then choose the version that feels like you today.
If you love the result, save the pairing as a reference. A small color experiment can refresh several familiar outfits without creating a new shopping list.
