3. Make Exercise Fun – Spring is the perfect time of year to combine exercise with social activities. Be creative to get endorphins pumping and think of things to do with friends such as taking a salsa class, archery lessons, or an evening walk around the neighborhood.
4. Get A Spring Tune-up – Doctor’s appointments are important, but often pushed to the wayside. Make a list and schedule all your appointments at once: yearly check-ups, dental exams and cleanings, eye exams, etc.
5. My monthly subscription from Beauty Box 5 arrived and I was pleased to receive all of the goodies in this month’s box.
The company sent over Every Beauty Makeup Remover Pads, Rockstar Nail Polish, Elizabeth Mott Mascara, H20 Plus Spa Hand & Nail Cream, and John Frieda Shampoo/Conditioner.
I was super excited to use the Elizabeth Mott Mascara because I actually needed to purchase a new tube, so my subscription box came right on time. And the product lived up to my expectation: no clumps, goes on smooth, and wears well through out the day.
The Rockstar Nail Polish was actually one of the first items that caught my attention due to my love of the color pink…the nail sprinkles and I am excited to have my “caviar” nails done!
And of course, I welcome receiving any new hand cream because there’s so much dry air this season. To sum it up, I am enjoying my subscription and will post an updated photo of the nail polish once I have my weekly manicure.

Your probably asking, “why is this topic so important?” Because the winter months can leave your skin very dry (a battle ground for wrinkles) but most importantly, because it’s flu season we should detox our bodies weekly to keep those nasty toxins away.
Honestly, when I first sampled the Montagne Jeunesse face mask I was scared (lol) but the mask turned out to be a great inexpensive product. For use, clean your face first, take the mask out of the pack and place it on your entire face for about 10 minutes, rinse off the residue, and moisturize your skin.
Simple enough process right! The moral of the story: if you take care of your body it will take care of you and you don’t have to spend your mortgage payment to have a consistent beauty regimen.

Take Your Natural Hair up a Notch – Lupita Nyong’o’s Golden Globes 2014 Look by Celebrity Hairstylist Larry Sims!
