Sephora Grand Opening in Riverchase Galleria

Sephora cosmetics store will be opening on Friday, May 5, 2017 in the Riverchase Galleria. If you don’t know about Sephora, they offer an array of beauty products such as fragrance, makeup, nail polish, and hair care.

The grand opening will be located inside of JCPenney from 10:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. More details about the event are below:

Many people don’t realize, but taking care of your cuticles is the best way to keep your nails looking their best. Skyy Hadley, owner of As U Wish Nail Salon, is a firm believer in tending to your cuticles for strong and lustrous nails. Follow her tips below for the best results:

Always use a cuticle oil/cream. Having dry, scraggly cuticles is not a good look and may even make you want to pick them, which can lead to a bacterial infection. America’s Next Top Model Season 23 Episode 13 Recap

Rimmel London was the focus behind this week’s episode of America’s Next Top Model Season 23. The models were expected to perform as an ambassador for the company. They were judged on brand awareness and makeup application on their partner.

Rita Ora expressed that being a spokesperson is about personality, technique, and the ability to sell a product.

As a result, Cory Anne won the Rimmel London spokesperson challenge. The company surprised (both) Cory Anne and India with a visit from their mom.

Drew Elliott directed the second challenge, which was a Rimmel London commercial. The models highlighted Scandalize Waterproof Mascara and Eyeliner. Both products were showcased in the rain while Courtney’s facial expression conflicted with the video shoot.

During elimination, the panelist expressed the importance of “branding” while representing a cosmetics line. Courtney was eliminated from the competition.

COVERGIRL OUTLAST ALL-DAY Soft Touch Concealer: Review

COVERGIRL has a new collection titled the OUTLAST All-Day product line. This advanced formula was perfect because I have been searching for makeup that will give a flawless appearance.

Aside from having an unblemished face, I needed something to remove the shine and last for hours without fading away.

COVERGIRL sent the Soft Touch Concealer for a product review. I was skeptical because concealer is a serious topic for beauty bloggers. To my surprise, this product is amazing! After staying up all night I needed makeup to camouflage my under-eye circles.

This concealer has a matte finish and doesn’t require a lot of application.

Get the Look: Nathalie Emmanuel for Vanity Fair After Party

Inspiration: Sultry, smokey eyes and a nude lip to compliment Nathalie’s black lace Monique Lhuillier gown.

Face: Kelsey applied Tom Ford Graceless Foundation Stick and NARS Soft Matte Concealer to Nathalie’s face where needed. She then created a bronzy contour with mark. Touch & Glow.

Eyes: The eyes were soft and smokey and Kelsey used a selection of shades from the NEW Avon True Color 8-in-1 Eyeshadow Palette in Nude Muse, applying the lightest shades of the palette on the lid. Next, she started applying the warmer, darker browns on the upper and lower lash lines as well as the outer corners of Nathalie’s eyes, smoking the shadow outward. To add more drama to the eyes she applied a few generous coats of NEW Avon True Color SuperExtend Nourishing Mascara to the top and bottom lashes.

Lips: As a finishing touch, Kelsey used NEW Avon True Color Nourishing Lipstick in Nude Truffle to complete Nathalie’s neutral, monochromatic look

Get The Look: ESSENCE’s Black Women in Hollywood Awards

Last night marked the 10th anniversary of ESSENCE’s Black Women in Hollywood Awards! Gabrielle Union hosted the event and Danielle Brooks slayed the red carpet with her luscious locks!

Below, find the step by step guide on how celebrity hairstylist, Larry Sims gave each woman a sleek and fabulous with Schwarzkopf GLISS, Schwarzkopf got2b, and Smooth ‘N Shine!

How to Get the Look:

Take a feather razor and create a chin length textured bob
