T.I. – Hip-Hop Artist {Fashionable} Breakthrough with AKOO Clothing

Female hip-hop artist and athletes have held it down when it comes to being fashionable, for example Nicki Minaj, Queen Latifia, Venus and Serena Williams to name a few. But, when you consider male hip-hop artist and athletes, a number of things come to mind and one must add fashionably conscious to that list!

Now, more and more male rappers and athletes are becoming more concerned with their image and a few are becoming the go-to-guides for what to wear and what not to wear. Hip Hop mogul T.I. and Grand Hustle Entertainment CEO, Jason Geter, founders of AKOO, are the perfect examples of artist moving towards a more polished, refined and overall debonair look.

H&M to Launch Online Shopping

For those that have missed it, H&M has launched their new online shopping website! This is 100% Diva-licious, especially since it’s one of my favorite “trendy” stores. Click on the link below to start shopping online…

H&M to Launch Online Shopping

The chain won’t launch e-commerce for another year, and Racked wonders if this means the U.S. will have access to the label’s plus-size line called Inclusive; however, Jezebel notes that the line is a one-off (so when it sells out, it’s gone) and currently only available online to people in European shipping zones. On the upside, H&M’s e-shop may have a pivotal effect on how ravenous fans navigate shopping the designer collaboration collections. We could wait in line in front of our computer all day if we had to, to shop those. It’s not like we even have a choice about that.

Beauty Buzz: Moroccanoil Intense Hydrating Mask: review + WIN via Fashioninsing.com

Kelly Rowland uses morroccanoil on her hair to get that beautiful shine!

Moroccanoil Intense Hydrating Mask: review + WIN: “Posted in Fashion » Fashion Blog » Hairstyles » Hair Products & Hair Care

There are few brand names that reach your ears by word of mouth before they do from marketing efforts, and Moroccanoil is one of them. It’s a testament to the loyal following of the brand; Moroccanoil’s users are also advocates, a powerful thing, and having been recommended their products by numerous people I was particularly keen to see if the buzz was warranted. Add to that the fact that I seem to be following Winter around the world, and there could really be no better time to be slathering on a rich deep conditioning treatement like Moroccanoil’s Intense Hydrating Mask.

The consistency of the mask is a thick creme. I used quite a bit in order to really work enough into my hair (my hair is relatively long), but in future applications I could probably be more sparing. The scent of Moroccanoil’s mask is subtle and pleasing to the nose. I can’t find any fault with the look, feel, or smell of the product.

To achieve this look, morrocanoil was applied!

I left the treatment in for a good 10 minutes which was simple enough (no hot towels or fancy applications needed), rinsed, then dried my hair. The results were promising: my winter-ravaged hair felt immediately healthier and more hydrated without feeling like I’d just piled on a bucketload of chemicals. Unlike most treatments I’ve used in the past, which leave my hair silky but flat, the Moroccanoil mask didn’t lose volume. This is pretty much the number one point for me: I’m rather attached to my volume, so a product that leaves my hair healthier without leaving it limp gets a huge score in my book.

Best Celebrity Makeup Looks ~ Paula Begoun

Best Celebrity Makeup Looks

Want a new makeup look, or do you just need a little extra help to look your best? Take a lesson from these leading ladies who always look fabulous thanks to makeup that is appropriate for their age, hair color, and skin tone. Following a few simple tricks of the trade, you too can apply makeup like the pros for a look that’s perfectly healthy, fresh and radiant! We’ve listed our favorite Paula’s Choice products and, of course, you can always go to Beautypedia to see the other great makeup products recommended by The Cosmetics Cop Team.
blakelively300 Blake Lively, 23

Blake Lively is young enough to experiment with makeup looks, which she does… in a tasteful way. She stays away from the heavy, overly black eye design that many celebrities her age rely on to stand out. Instead, she sticks with eyeshadows in neutral colors or a flattering shade of golden peach to bring out her blue eyes. She’s not afraid to change up her lip color, and she knows how to maintain color balance. Blake gets an A+ for her ability to transform from an effortless daytime look with softer shades to a classically elegant look, red lipstick and all.

GET THE LOOK: To achieve Blake’s look, try Revlon’s Luxurious Color Satin Eye Shadow ($4.99), Wet ‘n’ Wild’s Wild Shine Lip Lacquer ($2.99), and Paula’s Choice Healthy Finish Pressed Powder SPF 15 in Healthy Tan ($14.95) for a bronzed glow.

Kerry Washington Kerry Washington, 34

Kerry Washington consistently impresses us with her sultry eye makeup that beautifully accentuates her eyes, rather than overpowering or making them look smaller. She wears flattering shades of brown, slate or black eyeshadow against her gorgeous, dark skin tone. To soften her already voluptuous lips she opts for shades of nude or pink. She knows how to keep her makeup fresh and sexy without drawing too much attention to any one feature.

GET THE LOOK: Copy Kerry’s eye makeup design with Victoria’s Secret Silky Eye Shadow in the shade Fierce ($10), Paula’s Choice Illicit Lash Maximum Impact Mascara ($10.95), and on your lips use Maybelline’s Color Sensational Lipcolor ($8.29) in the shades Nearly There or Born With It.

Catherine-Zeta-Jones Catherine Zeta-Jones, 41

Catherine Zeta-Jones is obviously blessed with natural beauty, and she knows how to make the most of it. Her makeup look throughout the years hasn’t changed much, and there’s a
good reason for that – it’s gorgeous, and you’re always looking at her, not at her makeup! She strikes a great balance between natural and dramatic. She’s never without a lipstick that complements her skin tone, and she plays up her lashes while perfectly framing her eyes with expertly groomed brows. For the red carpet, Zeta-Jones glams it up with a beautiful, smoky eye, taking her look to maximum glamour.

GET THE LOOK: Get Catherine’s perfect eyebrows with Paula’s Choice Browlistic Long-Wearing Precision Brow Color ($9.95), and mimic her long-wear lip color with Cover Girl’s Outlast All-Day Lipcolor in the shades Dusty Rose or Forever Fawn ($9.99).

Julianne-Moore_2 Julianne Moore, 50

Julianne Moore lets her stunning red hair and porcelain skin take center stage, while her makeup plays a supporting role. She strategically uses makeup to subtly accentuate her eyes, lips and cheekbones, whether she’s using tones of coral, nude or mauve. Julianne has used sunscreen faithfully since her mid-twenties, and it shows in her glowing, radiant complexion. Redheads (whether natural or dyed), take note: This is how to do soft, defining makeup that doesn’t compete with your attention-getting hair color!

GET THE LOOK: Use Paula’s Choice Moisture Boost Daily Restoring Complex with SPF 20 ($20.95) to keep your skin radiant and protected like Julianne’s, and accentuate your cheekbones with Sonia Kashuk’s Beautifying Blush ($7.99) in Melon or Lily for a subtle, healthy glow.

Helen-Mirren_l Helen Mirren, 65

Helen Mirren still knows how to turn heads at the age of 65. Her makeup (and age-appropriate hairstyle) plays up the features that keep her looking radiant without coming across as though she’s trying too hard. Helen uses blush on her cheeks to add a vibrant, healthy glow, and she keeps her eye makeup design minimal, but elegant, with the focus on eyeliner rather than lots of eyeshadow. She knows how to vamp things up with classic red lipstick and strategic shine on Oscar night, but she also plays around with other flattering lip colors for everyday wear.

GET THE LOOK: Imitate Helen’s age-appropriate look by using Physicians Formula’s Eye Definer Felt-Tip Eye Marker ($6.95) and Paula’s Choice Sheer Cream Lipstick SPF 15 ($10.95) in conjunction with Paula’s Choice Long-Lasting Anti-Feather Lipliner ($7.95) to help keep your lipstick from traveling into lines aroun
