Two-Time Emmy-Winning Host Tamron Hall Returns As Host and Executive Producer of the Second Longest-Running Syndicated Talk Show Produced by Disney #tamronhallshow

On the heels of celebrating its season five milestone, the nationally syndicated daytime show “Tamron Hall” will make its triumphant return for a highly anticipated sixth season on Tuesday, Sept. 3 (check local listings). Hosted and executive produced by Emmy®-winning Tamron Hall, the daily talk show’s forthcoming season kicks off with a September to remember! Can’t-miss, exclusive interviews and star-studded performances from Miranda Lambert, Quincy Brown, Chloe Bailey, Method Man, Dolly Parton, Sanaa Lathan, Aunjanue Ellis-Taylor, Eve, Lil Rel Howery, Ina Garten, Jay Pharoah, Yara Shahidi, as well as a special live set from “The Reunion Tour” with Kirk Franklin, Yolanda Adams, Marvin Sapp and Fred Hammond. The daytime talk show was also nominated for an NAACP Image Award and GLAAD Media Award in 2024. “Tamron Hall” has already become the second longest-running syndicated talk show produced by ABC News’ parent company, Disney.

Since its debut in September 2019, “Tamron Hall” continues to be one of television’s highest-rated daytime shows, consistently delivering standout moments that become central to the cultural conversation. GMA3: WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW’ HEADS TO NEW ORLEANS 

To kick off this year’s ESSENCE Festival of Culture™ presented by Coca-Cola®, ABC News’ “GMA3: What You Need to Know” co-anchors Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes and ABC News Chief Medical Correspondent Dr. Jen Ashton will host a special broadcast originating from the heart of New Orleans at Brennan’s in the French Quarter.  

 

On Thursday, June 30, the “GMA3” team will be live from “The Big Easy” to kick off the festival, which ends on Sunday, July 3. Drawing more than 500,000 attendees annually over the holiday weekend, ESSENCE Fest is one of the largest festivals in the country. 

 

As DJ D-Nice spins throughout the show, Robach, Holmes, and Dr. Ashton will interview actress Marsai Martin and New Orleans Mayor LaToya Cantrell, and look at the hottest fashion trends to expect at this year’s festival with ESSENCE beauty and fashion editor Blake Newby. The show will also give viewers a look back at the history and beginnings of ESSENCE Fest and detail how it became the massive celebration of Black culture it is today with ESSENCE CEO Caroline Wanga.
