Rita Ora Take-Over Rimmel Snapchat Channel TODAY

Rimmel London ambassador Rita Ora is getting to grips with using the new Snapchat Spectacles in preparation for giving a unique behind-the-scenes sneak-peek at her new Rimmel London advertising campaign – FROM HER EXCLUSIVE VIEW-POINT.

The multitalented singer-songwriter-actor today announced on her social media accounts that she will be taking-over the Rimmel London Snapchat Channel on December 20, 2016. Fans will get an extraordinary backstage insight into Rita’s new photoshoot for Rimmel London, all thanks to the innovative use of Snapchat Spectacles. Throughout the day, Rita will be wearing the sought-after sunglasses, which have a built-in camera to record 10 second videos that are directly uploaded to Snapchat.

For the FIRST TIME for a beauty brand, Rimmel London will be able to show exactly what it’s like to be a celebrity on the set of a shoot with footage taken from Rita’s perspective. Rita will record and upload Snapchat videos whilst she’s talking to her glam squad, getting her hair and make-up done, and even whilst she’s being shot by the photographer. Beauty and music lovers will get an unprecedented A-lister look at all the behind-the-scenes action, different angles of the set, the people involved and what it’s like to be on the other side of the camera.

Thanks to Rimmel, Rita is one of the very few to get her hands on a fun pair of stylish Snapchat Spectacles. Made by Snap Inc, these wearable camera-glasses are available in random locations across the US.

Dedicated to raising awareness, Georgia May Jagger, Coty’s Global Ambassador for the fight against blood cancer and the face of Rimmel London, lent her voice to the cause while showcasing her London style at the Big Love 10^th Annual Delete Blood Cancer Gala, celebrating the 25^th Anniversary of DKMS, at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City. Always the London girl, Georgia made her own rules on the red carpet in a stunning Edward Sexton suit, continuing to set new trends with her exclusive Rimmel London look.

Drugstore Beauty Products: The Editor’s Obsession

As a mom, I’m constantly running to the drugstore to pick up something. Of course while I’m shopping I will come across the standard drugstore items such as cleaning solutions and soap, but I can’t resist the urge to check out what’s new on the beauty products aisle.

The reason I love drugstore, beauty products is because they are generally inexpensive which means there’s no loss in trying something new. But most importantly, the products are good quality and in line with the latest trends as it relates to the beauty industry. Most products range from makeup, hair care, skin, nails, eyebrows, lashes, and even perfume! And what’s really great is that local drugstores will run a sale on select items for the week to make room for something new (and to make a profit.)

Lastly, if you stop by the beauty aisle during the holiday season most stores have a new shipment of makeup kits (for the cheap price of $10.00) or small stocking stuffers such as cosmetics bags or manicure kits for $5.00. For me, shopping in the local drugstore is truly the ultimate guilty pleasure!
