Golden Globes Hair: Lily James and Vanessa Hudgens #YourHairTalksMakeaStatement

Lily James’ hair made a romantic statement last night for the 2018 Golden Globes. 

Inspiration: Gregory was inspired by Lily’s statement-making, black Valentino gown to create a soft and graceful updo that compliments the ruffled neckline and low back.

Step-by-step:

  • Starting with damp hair, spray John Frieda Luxurious Volume Full Hydration Leave-In Detangling Mist on the ends to nourish, detangle and prep the hair
  • Then, apply a golf ball-sized amount of John Frieda Luxurious Volume Perfectly Full Mousse to the crown and to the root of the hair to help create lasting body
  • Next, blow dry the hair with a large, round hairbrush to further add fullness. Once the hair is dry, use a flat iron to create a natural looking wave
  • After waving the hair, spray John Frieda Luxurious Volume Volume Refresh Dry Shampoo through the lengths of hair to add a soft texture
  • Then, apply a pearl-sized amount of John Frieda Secret Weapon Touch-Up Crème through the ends of the hair to add shine and definition
  • Leave a few wisps of hair out around the face and tie the rest of the hair low at the nape of the head. Split the ponytail in half and tie a knot fastening the ends loosely so it has a soft, romantic feeling

Last night, Vanessa Hudgens’ hair made a classic and trendy statement with a fringe bob – a hairstyle that’s already a top hair trend for 2018.

Inspiration: Chad was inspired by the ultimate French girl bob.

Step-by-step:

  • Start by spraying John Frieda Frizz Ease 3-Day Straight Flat Iron Spray from the mid-shaft through the ends of the hair to help seal in a long-lasting straight, smooth style

Harbor East Welcomes Bmore Betty – Reseller of Authentic Designer Accessories

Harbor East Management Group is pleased to announce retailer B’more Betty is set to open at Harbor East. B’more Betty, Maryland’s premier buyer and seller of new and pre-owned designer handbags, shoes and accessories for men and women, will make its new home at 1500 Thames Street, Suite B. The store will span approximately 1,200 SF and is projected to open for the 2015 holiday shopping season.

Betty, an acronym for “Bringing Exclusive Trends To You,” keeps true to its name by carrying respected high-end designers at affordable price points, including labels such as Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Gucci, Prada, Valentino, Michael Kors, Christian Louboutin, Salvatore Ferragamo, YSL and many more. The store design is curated to resemble a luxurious closet, complete with a chandelier and glamorous furnishings. It will be open Wednesday through Sunday from 11AM-7PM.

This is B’more Betty’s second location – owner Camille Edwards opened a store at National Harbor Maryland in May of 2015. B’more Betty originally opened in Baltimore’s Federal Hill neighborhood in 2012 and closed in the spring of this year.

“It is with tremendous excitement and anticipation that we reopen B’more Betty in its hometown of Baltimore,” Edwards said. “We have so many loyal customers who believe in the store and who have supported us throughout the years and we can’t wait to show them the new space. Handbag Gallery 2015 – Designer to Moderate Price

 

One fashion item that unites all women (across the world) are gorgeous handbags.  We love them and they keep us organized. Handbags also serve various purposes in our life and can upgrade any look!

For example, we have kids and purchase a different “style” handbag; we start a new job and purchase a different “color” handbag.  The options are endless because retailers and designers work actively to suit our fashion needs.

Everyone has their favorite fashion accessory and personally, I prefer a new handbag.  In the gallery above, I’ve shared a few bags that might suit your liking.  The purses range from designer to moderately priced.  I’m also very fond of the rich hues shown in gray, dark purple, and taupe.
