Madonna Collaborates with Designers for Wardrobe on Rebel Heart Tour

Madonna today unveiled the fashion designers with whom she is collaborating for her costumes on her highly anticipated Rebel Heart World Tour. The list includes Alessandro Michele for Gucci, Alexander Wang, Fausto Puglisi, Jeremy Scott for Moschino, Nicolas Jebran, Miu Miu, Prada and Swarovski. Costume designer Arianne Phillips will be overseeing the wardrobe for the Rebel Heart Tour and will also contribute designs, marking her sixth tour with Madonna.

 

The Rebel Heart Tour will kick off on September 9th in Montreal, Quebec at Bell Centre and visit cities throughout North America, Europe, Asia and Australia. Since the tour was announced this past spring, due to overwhelming demand, multiple shows have been added in cities across the world including: Montreal, New York City, Toronto, Miami, Koln, Turin, Barcelona, Berlin, Sydney, Melbourne, Manila and more. Diplo will open the Rebel Heart Tour in Montreal on September 9th and 10th, and Amy Schumer will open the two dates at New York’s Madison Square Garden and the Barclays Center in Brooklyn. Award-winning Journalist Soledad OBrien along with her husband Brad Raymond hosted the annual fundraising event, “New Orleans to New York City Gala,” with guests Bevy Smith, Ubah Hassan, Geoffrey Fletcher and more. The celebration was the biggest night of the year for the Starfish Foundation, created to provide promising young women a bridge between obstacles and opportunities. Guests enjoyed a cocktail reception followed by the evening’s festivities which included a special music performance by members of the New Orleans Jazz Orchestra.

The Starfish Foundation Industry Roundtable Powered by Build N Blaze gave Starfish scholars a behind the scenes look inside running the Home Shopping Network (HSN). HSN CEO Mindy Grossman was on site for a Q&A with Soledad OBrien and to take the young women scholars through a day in the life at the network.

ABOUT THE STARFISH FOUNDATION: After witnessing the devastating effects of Hurricane Katrina in 2006, OBrien and Raymond began privately awarding scholarships to young women who didn’t have the resources for success. As their efforts grew, they officially formed the Starfish Foundation to expand their reach and help even more young women. Today the Starfish Foundation provides scholarships to disadvantaged young women in under-served communities and is committed to giving more than just financial assistance to its scholarship honorees. The Foundation creates a customized support program for each participant that reflects that person’s specific needs.

Coach Campaign Launches with Lady Gaga’s Pup

Coach, Inc., a leading New York design house of modern luxury accessories and lifestyle collections, goes to the dogs as it reveals its newest advertising campaign. Titled “COACH PUPS,” the new campaign features canine stars in a series of portraits photographed by Steven Meisel. It launches this month with Miss Asia Kinney, the adorable four-legged companion of Lady Gaga.

The campaign celebrates the dogs in our lives and captures the pups’ unique personalities as they “model” Coach’s Fall 2015 star bags. Additional PUPS staring in the campaign will be revealed shortly.  Miss Asia Kinney, Lady Gaga’s now famous French Bulldog has amassed a substantial social media following in only a few short weeks. The Coach bags she elegantly models in the campaign are the Edie and the Rucksack.

Art directed by Fabien Baron and styled by Karl Templer, COACH PUPS will appear in print, online and on outdoor media globally starting in July.

Lady Gaga commented: “I am so proud of Miss Asia! She’s a natural in front of the camera, and we’re both so excited that the iconic Steven Meisel shot her for Coach’s pup campaign! I really love getting to watch my best friend be a star.”

Coach has made a donation to Chicago French Bulldog Rescue (frenchieporvous.org) on behalf of Miss Asia Kinney and her devoted owner.
